Solid Star, having overcome his addiction, candidly discussed his harrowing experience with drugs during a recent appearance on the Honest Bunch podcast alongside media personality Nedu Wazobia and others.

He recounted a pivotal moment in 2001 when negative influences introduced him to hard drugs, leading to severe mental health issues. Solid Star detailed how the narcotics impacted his behavior, even prompting him to embark on arduous journeys across Lagos.

Following his recovery, Solid Star resurfaced on Instagram, sharing reflections on his music career and expressing gratitude for the support of his fans. He also apologized for any unintentional harm caused during his darkest moments.

Now, Solid Star is back with a new single titled “Sonto,” which he describes as a heartfelt expression of his experiences.
