Soludo Appoints Five-Member State Civil Service Commission In Anambra
Anambra state governor, Chukwuma Soludo, has appointed a five-member State Civil Service Commission with Ezenwaka Anthony as chairman.
According to a statement released by his chief press secretary, Chris Aburime, the appointment was part of the administration’s ongoing efforts to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the state’s civil service system.
The newly appointed Commission members include Uwolloh Chuma Christopher, Mrs. Philomina Okoli, Mrs. Adaobi Udealor, and Dr. Luke Chidiebele Ogbaka.
Aburime said: “The members are expected to bring their wealth of experience to bear in ensuring that the state civil service functions optimally, with a focus on efficiency, professionalism, and service delivery, all geared towards enhancing the well-being of Ndi Anambra”
He stated that the governor, in congratulating the appointees, urged them to fully dedicate themselves to their new roles and align their work with the administration’s goals of good governance and transformational leadership.
It would recalled that the Commission has recently encountered challenges, including issues with ghost workers and certificate forgery during the ongoing staff review.
The cleanup effort has implicated some prominent individuals accused of certificate fraud, while others residing abroad have continued to receive salaries from the state.
