In related news, Abdulganiyu Jaji, the Controller General of the Federal Fire Service, has placed his personnel on high alert to respond to any emergencies during the Eid-el-Fitr celebrations. He advised Nigerians to exercise extra caution, especially while cooking, and emphasized safety measures such as not leaving cooking unattended, storing gas cylinders away from kitchens, and keeping matches out of reach of children.
Jaji also highlighted the importance of these precautions to prevent accidents, particularly given the risks associated with festive travel. He encouraged the public to familiarize themselves with the contact details of their local fire service units to ensure swift assistance in case of emergencies.
