Igboho, represented by his lawyer Pelumi Olajengbesi, has urged swift action and the immediate arrest of the gunmen responsible for the incident that occurred between Oke-Ako and Ipao-Ekiti in the Ajoni Local Government Area.

Offering condolences to Ekiti State Governor Biodun Oyebanji, the state government, and the resilient people of Ekiti, particularly in Esun Ekiti and Imojo Ekiti, Igboho strongly condemned the barbaric murders. He called on both state and federal governments to take decisive steps to bring the perpetrators to justice.

In a statement, Igboho insisted on the prompt apprehension of the murderers and advocated for an extensive search of the surrounding woods and forests to identify those responsible for the heinous acts. Calling upon the intervention of Ogun, the god of iron, Igboho seeks divine justice and an end to the ongoing menace.

Expressing solidarity with the affected families and kidnapped school children in Eporo Ekiti, Igboho stressed the importance of collective efforts to ensure justice prevails. He emphasized that such tragedies should not disrupt the peace and prosperity of Yorubaland.

Concluding his statement, Igboho conveyed the pain of the situation and warned that consequences are imminent for those involved in such acts, regardless of their motivations. He called for unity and determination among the people to prevent further loss of life in Yorubaland.
