According to Ireporter Online, the Super Eagles of Nigeria have officially unveiled their starting line-up for today’s crucial Group C clash against Tanzania, with star striker Victor Osimhen leading the attack as both teams battle for important points in the group stage.

The encounter, scheduled to kick off at 6:30 p.m. WAT, comes amid heightened expectations as Nigeria aims to stamp its authority early in the competition. Stanley Nwabali continues in goal, maintaining consistency at the back following a string of recent appearances for the national side.

Nigeria’s defence is anchored by Bright Osayi-Samuel, Semi Ajayi, Calvin Bassey and Zaidu Sanusi, forming a solid back four tasked with keeping Tanzania’s attack at bay. In midfield, Wilfred Ndidi takes up the holding role, supported by Alex Iwobi and Samuel Chukwueze, who is expected to push forward and link play with the attackers.

The attacking trio features Ademola Lookman and Akor Adams operating from the flanks, while Victor Osimhen spearheads the frontline in a familiar 4-3-3 formation.

Tanzania, also opting for a 4-3-3 setup, will rely on the experience of Mbwana Samatta to lead their attack. The East African side includes Salum Msuva, Novatus Miroshi and Saimon Kapombe in their starting eleven, as they seek to unsettle Nigeria and take advantage of any defensive lapses.

Both teams boast depth on the bench, with Nigeria able to introduce players such as Moses Simon, Paul Onuachu, Cyriel Dessers and Frank Onyeka if required. Tanzania, meanwhile, have attacking reinforcements including Denis Kibu and Kelvin John waiting to be called upon.
