Suspected Kidnapper Apprehended While Attempting to Collect Ransom

The arrest followed a report by Alhaji Yahya Congo and Abraham Paul, who informed authorities that the suspect had contacted them by phone, demanding a ransom of 600,000 Naira under threat of kidnapping.
In response to the complaints, the Ganye Division police, in collaboration with local hunters, swiftly mobilized and apprehended the suspect at the location where he intended to collect the demanded money.
The command’s spokesperson confirmed the arrest, stating that the suspect will face court charges after a thorough investigation.
