From Ilorin to Offa, Omu-Aran to Lafiagi, down to Kaiama, Patigi and beyond, the streets are awash with goodwill for the Turaki of Ilorin and Senator representing Kwara Central in the National Assembly, Distinguished Senator Saliu Mustapha. To many, he is the common politician who never abandons his people. He clears school fees, provides shelter, still remains the same Mallam who gifts rams and goats during festivities, the same founder of the Saliu Mustapha Foundation that has pumped hundreds of millions into support for over a decade, and the same senator who has opened doors to federal government jobs for countless Kwarans.
