Tinubu Departs Abuja For Army Annual Conference In Maiduguri

President Bola Tinubu has left Abuja for Maiduguri, the capital of Borno State, to attend the Nigerian Army Annual Conference. The president’s departure took place at approximately 10:35 AM on Monday from the presidential wing of the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport.

This visit marks Tinubu’s first to the northeastern part of the country since assuming office.

He is expected to be the Special Guest of Honour at the Nigerian Army Annual Conference.

The Opening Ceremony will include an address to troops of Joint Task Force North East Operation HADIN KAI, an inspection of the ongoing Nigerian Army Reference Hospital Maiduguri, and the laying of the foundation stone of Headquarters 7 Division.
