Tinubu Shows More Commitment To Igboland’s Development: Onuigbo

Former lawmaker Sam Onuigbo has praised President Bola Tinubu for his dedication to the development of the South-East region, highlighting the establishment of the South-East Development Commission (SEDC) as a significant step in this direction.

In a statement released on Wednesday, Onuigbo lauded Tinubu’s recent signing of the South-East Development Commission Bill into law. Onuigbo, a former member of the House of Representatives, emphasized that the creation of the SEDC underscores Tinubu’s commitment to inclusive growth in the South-East, a region that has experienced post-civil war challenges.

Onuigbo also commended Deputy Speaker Benjamin Kalu for his role in ensuring the bill’s passage, noting that the commission will be instrumental in overseeing the region’s comprehensive development.
