Leading the charge is Mr. Gbenga Alade, appointed as the Chief Executive Officer of AMCON, succeeding Ahmed Kuru, who has held the position since August 2015.

The announcement of these key appointments was made by Ajuri Ngelale, the Special Adviser to the President on Media and Publicity, in a statement released on Thursday, February 22.

Joining Alade are three other executive directors: Aminu Ismail, Adeshola Lamidi, and Lucky Adaghe. Their appointments are pending confirmation by the Nigerian Senate.

Ngelale emphasized President Tinubu’s expectations of unwavering dedication, professionalism, and dutifulness from the new appointees. The President aims to enhance the efficiency and transparency of AMCON’s operations, aligning them with his vision to revitalize the nation’s financial system.
