Traders Plea: No Price Hikes During Ramadan, Amid Economic Strain

Jamilu called on traders to act with the fear of God and avoid exploiting the spiritual and festive period for financial gain.

He highlighted the economic struggles faced by Nigerians, pointing out that many are enduring difficult living conditions. Jamilu also urged the Federal Government to review its economic policies to make them more citizen-friendly, and called on state and local governments to take action to mitigate the harsh economic situation.

While wishing Muslims a blessed Ramadan, he encouraged them to reflect on and practice the season’s lessons. Furthermore, Jamilu, who also serves as the Special Adviser to Kano State Governor Abba Yusuf on Cooperatives, appealed to philanthropists and organizations to assist those in need during this period.
