Tragic Accident Claims Three Lives On Lagos-Ibadan Expressway

According to reports received by Naija News, the calamity unfolded when a container dislodged from a truck, bearing the number plate T-1563 LA, leading to the entrapment of three male victims inside a Howo truck that lacked proper identification.
The collision, attributed to reckless driving and subsequent loss of control, was confirmed by Florence Okpe, the spokesperson for the Ogun State Sector Command of the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC).
Despite valiant efforts by the FRSC rescue team to extricate the driver and two passengers from the wreckage, the severity of the impact proved fatal, claiming their lives.
The lifeless bodies of the victims have been recovered and transported to a morgue in Sagamu for further procedures, as per Naija News sources.
In an official statement released by the road commission, the FRSC detailed the circumstances surrounding the accident, urging motorists to exercise defensive driving and prioritize safety on the roads to prevent such tragedies.
As investigations continue, authorities are emphasizing the importance of adhering to traffic laws, avoiding reckless driving practices, and maintaining vigilance to ensure the safety of all road users.
