TSO FCT CHAPTER, HOLDS AWARENESS AND SENSITIZATION PROGRAMME FOR AREAS COUNCILS COORDINATORS AND DEPUTIES
A sensitisation/familiarisation meeting was held today, 13th January, 2022 in the office of the TSO, FCT Chapter.
Some of the Exco members in attendance are;
1) The FCT Coordinator, Prince Olatayo Teriba Adepuji
2) The Deputy Coordinator
3) Director, Planning & Strategy/Secretary
4) Welfare Director
5) Director, Youth Affairs
6) Director, ICT
7) Director, Community Affairs
8) Director of Organization
9) Director, Media & Publicity.
10) Director of Finance
All the six Area Council Coordinators and deputies in FCT Abuja were also in attendance.
In his remarks, the FCT Coordinator, Prince Olatayo Adepuji welcomed everyone, especially the area council Coordinators and emphasised the purpose of the meeting. He called for their commitment to the task ahead for which their love for our Principal, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu is very key. As grassroot politicians, he reminded them of the need for transparency, accountability and being in touch with the people who are the real voters. It was because of this that he emphasized the need to see that most of the Coordinators and their deputies are indegenes of the FCT.
The Deputy coordinator and the Director, Media & Publicity both spoke in similar manner and charged the Coordinators to hit the ground running as Asiwaju’s visit to the President to inform him of his intention to run for election to d office of the President, come 2023 has cleared all doubts.
They were all reminded that they have to work to justify their positions as they were chosen based on recommendations.
The Area council Coordinators and their deputies present are AMAC, Bwari, Gwagwalada, Kuje, Kwali, and Abaji. They all showed alot of enthusiasm and promised to deliver on their assignment and ensure that we achieve victory for Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, come 2023 Presidential election.
Prince Olatayo T. Adepuji continued that “As we await the official presidential declaration of interest by our Principal Asiwaju Tinubu, we must pay respect to our Director General, Hon Aminu Suleiman for championing the only active platform that is garnering the needed support for Asiwaju to declare his interest.”
Also speaking shortly was the Deputy Coordinator, Hon. Ayisha Yakubu. She urged the entire Area Council stakeholders to be prepared for the great tasks ahead of them; noting that the aspiration of Asiwaju Tinubu require enormous commitment.
On his part, the Director of Youth Affairs, Hon. Idris Danladi seized the occasion to assure the organization’s chapter of the readiness of FCT youths to support the 2023 presidential aspiration of Asiwaju Tinubu.
