Udom Emmanuel’s EFCC Probe: APC Denies Akpabio’s Involvement, Calls Out PDP

The All Progressives Congress (APC) Media Network in Akwa Ibom has strongly criticized the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) for alleging that Senate President Godswill Akpabio is orchestrating a smear campaign against former Governor Udom Emmanuel.

emphasizing that Akpabio is fully occupied with legislative responsibilities and has no involvement in Emmanuel’s ongoing EFCC investigation.

John reaffirmed that the EFCC operates independently in its fight against financial crimes and warned against politicizing Emmanuel’s case. He also condemned attempts to add ethnic sentiment to the matter, citing a PDP elder’s statement that exonerated Akpabio from any involvement.

“The APC Media Network firmly rejects the PDP’s desperate propaganda and urges Nigerians to see through this attempt to mislead the public,” the statement concluded.
