In a statement issued by the Command’s Public Relations Officer, Monica Ojobi, the suspects were nabbed at different hotspots across Abuja. Among those arrested was a 27-year-old male, caught in the act of vandalizing armored cables along the Life Camp-Kado axis.

Another suspect, aged 28, was apprehended on the Yar’Adua Expressway, Airport Road, while attempting to dismantle solar panel poles and FCMB billboard structures. Meanwhile, an 18-year-old male was arrested with stolen parts from an El-Rufai commercial bus, also on the same expressway.

In addition to these arrests, three other suspects were taken into custody with stolen items, including streetlight poles, bulbs, fencing iron hooks, and nine shovels.

The suspects are currently undergoing investigation, and the NSCDC has promised to prosecute them in accordance with the law.
