Why Osinbajo Visited Tinubu – Aide Makes Huge Revelation

The spokesman for Vice President Yemi Osinbajo, Laolu Akande, has revealed that the visit by the nation’s number two citizen to the All Progressives Congress (APC) presidential candidate for 2023, Bola Tinubu, on Wednesday was not political.

Akande said in a tweet on his verified Twitter account that the Vice President and Tinubu exchanged pleasantries in the spirit of the season.

On Wednesday, Osinbajo paid a visit to the APC flag bearer at his Abuja residence.

The APC vice-presidential candidate, Kashim Shettima; former Speaker of the House of Representatives, Dimeji Bankole; and other APC bigwigs were also present during Osinbajo’s visit to Tinubu.

Osinbajo had lost the APC presidential primary to Tinubu in early June and was left off the APC Presidential Campaign Council’s long list of candidates.

The APC stated after the formation of its Presidential Campaign Council that Osinbajo was not added to the 422-member list because President Muhammadu Buhari “specifically directed” that they be left out of the Campaign Council in order to focus on the country’s governance.
