Why Tinubu Sent Shettima To NBA Conference – Adamu Garba

A former APC presidential aspirant, Adamu Garba has given a reason for the absence of the presidential candidate of the ruling All Progressive Congress (APC), Bola Tinubu at the Nigerian Bar Association, NBA, 62nd conference.

Recall that the former Lagos State Governor was absent yesterday at the Nigerian Bar Association conference with Atiku Abubakar and Peter Obi present.

Tinubu sent his running mate, Kashim Shettima, to represent him at the event held in Eko Atlantic Hotel in Lagos State.

His absence has been eliciting reactions from some Nigerians on social media who faulted his absence from the event that took place in his city.

While reacting to the development, Adamu Garba said Tinubu sent his running mate to show inclusive leadership.

In a tweet, Garba said Tinubu has shown that he would not run a megalomaniac leadership.

Garba said the APC presidential candidate has no plan to “bury” Kashim to be everywhere.

He wrote: “Tinubu absent, Tinubu absent. You guys don’t understand the true meaning of inclusive leadership.

“Unlike others, Tinubu clearly shows that he’s not planning to be a megalomaniac leader who should bury his Vice just to be everywhere, he trusts @KashimSM to deliver. No vacuum at all.”
