Veteran NTA Newscaster Aisha Bello Is Dead
Retired renowned broadcaster Aisha Bello Mustapha, who had a distinguished career with the Nigerian Television Authority (NTA), has passed away.
The news of her death surfaced on Monday, eliciting an outpouring of reactions from Nigerians.
“Innalilahi wa inna Alaihin Rajiun. May Allah forgive our Mother Hajia Aishat Bello Mustapha. Mama, indeed, you are a very kind-hearted person. We will miss you and hope you are enjoying Rahma,” the family said in a statement.
Details regarding the cause of Aisha Bello Mustapha’s death have not been disclosed.
A funeral prayer is scheduled to take place for the late newscaster at the Central Mosque in Abuja at 1 pm later today (Monday).
Aisha retired from active service in May 2022, concluding a distinguished 35-year career in broadcasting.
