Governor Adeleke, while engaging with a delegation of JUSUN national leaders, led by President Marwan Mustapha Adamu, underscores his commitment to resolving the dispute, citing efforts to address salary arrears and negotiate on wardrobe allowances for judicial workers.
Clarifying the strike’s jurisdictional focus, Adeleke asserts that the disagreement primarily concerns the judiciary, not the executive branch. However, he emphasizes his role in facilitating dialogue to avert further delays in justice delivery.
Expressing gratitude for JUSUN’s visit, Adeleke urges the national body to facilitate discussions among stakeholders for a peaceful resolution. He reassures full support for their mediation efforts in Osun State.
In response, JUSUN’s national president acknowledges the prolonged disruption in the state’s judiciary and regrets the industrial action’s impact. He pledges to engage with all parties involved to restore industrial peace swiftly.
With Adeleke’s call for dialogue and JUSUN’s commitment to seeking a lasting solution, hopes rise for an amicable resolution to the strike, signaling a potential breakthrough in Osun’s justice administration impasse.
