Terminal Operator and Dock Worker Nabbed in Drug Bust

Following a meticulous investigation, NDLEA operatives apprehended key suspects involved in the importation of two containers laden with narcotics and firearms. Among those arrested are a clearing and notify party, Falowo Samuel Kayode, a dock worker named Anjorin Idowu, and Uzairu Ahmed Iguda, the supervisor at the Five Star terminal where the illegal items were discovered.

Additional Seizures Unveiled

Further scrutiny of the containers unearthed an additional cache of drugs, including bags of Colorado weighing 192.7kg, alongside a pistol and ammunition. Investigations implicated the suspects in a coordinated effort to conceal and transport the contraband, shedding light on the intricate web of criminal activity.

Wanted Kingpins and Nationwide Raids

The NDLEA has identified three kingpins based in South Africa believed to be masterminds behind the illicit trade. Meanwhile, coordinated operations across the nation have resulted in multiple arrests and seizures, underscoring the agency’s commitment to combating drug trafficking at every level.
