Woman’s Drowning After Leap Into River Sends Shockwaves
A woman identified as Nimotalahi Ishola Folashade is reported to have drowned after allegedly leaping from a boat on Saturday, March 10…CONTINUE READING
According to police sources, Ms. Ishola was a passenger on a boat that departed from Isuti jet in Igando, Lagos state, with eleven other passengers bound for Totowu in Ogun state.
The captain of the boat stated that while they were in the middle of the river, Folashade removed her life jacket and jumped into the water. Among the items found in her bag were a bottle of insecticide, an ALimosho General Hospital card, and some medication.
The incident was promptly reported to the police, and efforts are underway to retrieve her body.
