Sankara urged the public to “dismiss this fabricated story, which has been concocted by certain political elements to damage my reputation.” He also affirmed his respect for the institution of marriage and declared his intention to take legal action against those responsible for spreading the false claims. “I will pursue legal action to defend myself against this baseless attack on my character,” he stated.
