This was revealed in a statement signed by the Secretary to the State Government, Malam Bala Ibrahim, and made available to reporters in Dutse, the Jigawa State capital.

The statement explained that “the decision was taken in response to recent allegations that require a thorough investigation to ensure transparency and maintain the integrity of the State Administration.” The Secretary emphasized Governor Namadi’s commitment to accountability and ethical governance.

Malam Bala Ibrahim further clarified that “the suspension is a precautionary measure to allow for a fair investigation.” He stressed the government’s dedication to upholding the trust of the people of Jigawa State.

Meanwhile, Sankara has strongly denied the allegations made by the Kano State Hisbah, describing them as false and malicious. In a statement released late Friday, he claimed the accusations were part of a politically motivated attempt to tarnish his image.

Sankara urged the public to “dismiss this fabricated story, which has been concocted by certain political elements to damage my reputation.” He also affirmed his respect for the institution of marriage and declared his intention to take legal action against those responsible for spreading the false claims. “I will pursue legal action to defend myself against this baseless attack on my character,” he stated.
