Millions In Ruins Three Aba Radio Stations Destroyed In Devastating Fire

A massive fire swept through three radio stations in Aba, Abia State, late Saturday, consuming broadcasting equipment worth millions of naira. Though the stations operate independently, they share a single building, which allowed the fire to spread quickly. The blaze, reportedly originating from the television section of Enyimba TV and Radio Limited (the stations’ parent company), was eventually contained by the Abia State Fire Service, preventing further spread. Fortunately, no lives were lost, but the stations are temporarily shut down for damage assessment and preventive measures.
