EFCC spokesperson, Mr. Dele Oyewale, confirmed the development to the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) on Saturday in Abuja.

He added that the brothers are expected to meet with the Head of the Special Operations Team at the EFCC office on 15A Awolowo Road, Lagos, by 10 a.m. on Monday.

The invitation comes after a viral video showed the two brothers engaging in what many perceived as naira abuse. In the clip, they were seen flaunting and spraying bundles of N1,000 notes in a promotional video for Raheem’s new song, “Credit Alert.”

Dressed in white traditional attire, the brothers danced while a mobile policeman held stacks of crisp naira notes, which they flung into the air.

The video sparked widespread criticism on social media, with many Nigerians condemning the act as a blatant disregard for the law. Critics also raised concerns about the potential influence of their father’s status on the investigation.
