Tinubu Announces Fresh Appointments To NABTEB, UBEC, And Other Agencies

• Dr. Mohammed Mohammed Aminu was appointed as the Registrar/CEO of NABTEB. Dr. Aminu, who holds a PhD in Automobile Technology and a Master’s in Procurement and Supply Chain Management, brings 28 years of experience in teaching, administration, research, and policy development. He previously served as Director of Procurement at the National Agency for Science and Engineering Infrastructure (NASENI).

• Mr. Idris Olorunnimbe was named Chairman of the UBEC Board. Olorunnimbe, a leader in education, youth empowerment, and entrepreneurship, is also the Group CEO of The Temple Company and has previously served on the board of the Lagos State Employment Trust Fund (LSETF).

• Rasaq Olajuwon was appointed Deputy Executive Secretary (Technical) at UBEC. Olajuwon, previously the Director of Administration and Human Resources at LASIMRA, brings valuable expertise in public administration.

• Tunde Ajibulu will serve as Deputy Executive Secretary (Services) at UBEC. Ajibulu is a Fellow of the National Institute for Policy and Strategic Studies (NIPSS) and has extensive experience in construction and consultancy.

President Tinubu urged the appointees to use their vast experience to drive innovation and transformational leadership in these agencies, ensuring they contribute effectively to Nigeria’s development, particularly in education and vocational skills.
