Police Successfully Thwart Kidnapping Attempt In Ebonyi

Swift Police Response and Recovery

Immediately after receiving the report, police operatives were dispatched to pursue the suspects. The officers tracked an ash-colored Toyota Corolla with registration number SKA 828 AA, which was being used by the kidnappers, to Tina Nweze Street within the vicinity.

Faced with intense pressure from the pursuing officers, the kidnappers abandoned both the victim and the vehicles involved, including the Toyota Corolla and a Toyota Sienna belonging to the victim. The police successfully recovered both vehicles, which are now secured at the command headquarters for proper identification by their rightful owners.

The Commissioner of Police, CP Adaku Uche-Anya, reiterated the command’s dedication to safeguarding lives and property within the state. He also urged residents to remain vigilant and promptly report any suspicious activity.
