The award-winning singer shared an image of his betting slip on his official X account, revealing his prediction that both Nigeria and Tanzania will score during the encounter. The wager carries a possible return of $96,564, estimated at about N140 million.

This latest show of confidence in the national team adds to Davido’s history of publicly backing Nigeria in major football fixtures. In a previous instance, the music star placed a $10,000 bet on Nigeria’s World Cup playoff match against Gabon, a game the Super Eagles eventually lost.
