188 Terrorists Killed In Recent Assault By Nigerian Troops

Nigerian troops have carried out successful operations across various regions of the country, resulting in the elimination of 188 terrorists and the rescue of 133 hostages. According to Maj-Gen. In the Northeast, under “Operation Hadin Kai,” 68 terrorists were eliminated, 182 suspects were apprehended, and 53 hostages were rescued. Additionally, substantial amounts of weapons and ammunition were seized.

In the North Central geopolitical zone, troops of “Operation Safe Haven” and “Operation Whirl Stroke” neutralized insurgents, arrested violent extremists, and rescued hostages.

In the Northwest, troops of “Operation Hadarin Daji” eliminated terrorists, apprehended others, rescued hostages, and recovered arms and ammunition. The air component also conducted successful airstrikes on terrorist hideouts.

In the South-South region, “Operation Delta Safe” uncovered and eradicated illegal refining sites, seized stolen crude oil, and neutralized insurgents involved in oil theft.

In the Southeast, troops of “Operation UDO KA” neutralized terrorists, arrested violent extremists, and rescued hostages, while also seizing weapons and ammunition.

All recovered items, arrested suspects, and rescued hostages have been handed over to the relevant authorities for further action.
