Naija News has learned that Shettima will be present at Sunday’s decisive encounter scheduled for the Alassane Quattara Stadium in Ebimpe, Abidjan.

As reported by SocreNigeria, the vice president will be joined by several high-ranking government officials on the trip to Ivory Coast.

The Super Eagles of Nigeria will once again confront the Elephants of Ivory Coast in the final at 9 p.m. on Sunday, February 11, following their earlier encounter in the group stage.

It is worth remembering that Shettima arrived in Cote d’Ivoire on the eve of the team’s semi-final victory against the Bafana Bafana of South Africa.

The nation’s second-in-command witnessed the game firsthand at the Stade de la Paix, Bouake, and later celebrated with the players and officials in the dressing room after the match.
