Human Rights Advocate Harrison Gwamnishu, who brought attention to the incident, urged Governor Charles Soludo to ensure justice prevails in the case. Disturbing footage obtained by PUNCH showed Kenneth enduring hours of torture as he pleaded with his assailants, who accused him of theft.

In the video, Kenneth, with his hands tied behind his back, was physically assaulted by two individuals wielding sticks until he tragically succumbed to death.

Gwamnishu emphasized the importance of swift action by the authorities, urging Governor Soludo and the Anambra State Police to ensure that the perpetrators are brought to justice. He also highlighted the plight of Kenneth’s wife and children, who reportedly face fear and intimidation, with threats of reprisal if they continue to seek justice for his death.

The advocate called on the community of Nza Ozubulu to confront the case head-on and provide protection to the deceased’s family in their pursuit of justice.
