God of the Earth, was arrested in Agwan Sarki, Orozo, near the Federal Capital Territory, after being found with Adaidu’s severed head in a polythene bag.

Court Orders Remand
The Nasarawa State High Court has remanded Ajayi as investigations into the grisly crime continue.

In an interview with Channels Television, Ajayi’s father begged the government for leniency, saying, “I want the government to help me so that the matter is settled. I want them to help me beg so that he is released.”

In contrast, Ajayi’s mother expressed a different view, questioning how she would feel if one of her daughters had suffered a similar fate. She stated, “The government can do whatever they deem fit. Everything is in their hands.”

A Violent Turn in a Relationship
Ajayi confessed during interrogation that he had been in a year-long relationship with Adaidu. He claimed a heated argument turned deadly after Adaidu allegedly tried to stab him. He admitted to killing her and revealed that her remains were at his residence.

The tragic story has drawn attention online, with a viral video showing mourners at Adaidu’s burial. Calls for justice continue to grow as the Adaidu family mourns their loss.
