Speaking to journalists after voting, Abiodun praised the Ogun State Independent Electoral Commission (OGSIEC) for its thorough preparation in ensuring a smooth and successful election. He acknowledged minor logistical issues but assured that they had been promptly addressed, with election materials now reaching every part of the state.

“I want to commend OGSIEC for their preparedness and dedication to conducting a free, fair, and credible election. While there were some logistical challenges initially, I have been informed that election materials are now available in all areas, and voting has begun smoothly,” Abiodun said.

The governor also expressed his satisfaction with the high voter turnout, which he believes reflects the public’s trust in the process and their confidence that the results will truly represent their choices.
