In a statement released by TCN’s General Manager of Public Affairs, Ndidi Mbah, it was disclosed that planned preventive maintenance will be carried out on the 132/33kV 2X100MVA power Transformers in Apo Transmission Substation.

The maintenance is scheduled for Saturday and Sunday, from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm each day, affecting areas including Garki, Asokoro, Lugbe, Airport Road, Gudu, and others.

During the maintenance period, Abuja DisCo will be unable to distribute power to its customers in the affected areas, resulting in a temporary blackout.

However, Mbah assured residents that power supply would be restored by 4:00 pm on both days.
