Justice Abimbola Awogboro of the Federal High Court in Lagos sentenced Bobrisky to six months in jail without the option of a fine after convicting him of Naira mutilation, following his arrest by operatives of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) on charges of money laundering and Naira abuse.

In his Instagram post, Alesh expressed disappointment at the apparent hypocrisy of Nigerian celebrities, accusing them of using Bobrisky for parties, movie promotions, events, and business boosts despite his controversial lifestyle. He lamented the silence of these celebrities in light of Bobrisky’s recent ordeal, emphasizing that prison is not a place where anyone should stay, even for a day.

Alesh urged his colleagues to show compassion and support for Bobrisky during this challenging time, reminding them that such circumstances could happen to anyone. He concluded his post by offering his prayers and support to Idris Okuneye, highlighting the importance of standing by individuals in times of need.
