Anambra CP Decorates 10 Newly Promoted Officers, Pledges Enhanced Security

Drawing from his own illustrious career spanning 35 years, which saw him serve in diverse roles across the country, including a stint as a Sector Commander in Maiduguri, he emphasized the pivotal role of dedication and competence in shaping the security landscape.
Reflecting on his own journey, CP Adeoye highlighted the importance of accepting postings with grace and using each opportunity to make a positive impact. He recounted his pivotal role in enhancing security during the tumultuous 2021 gubernatorial election, particularly in Ihiala Local Government Area, where gunmen sought to disrupt the democratic process. Through unwavering determination and coordinated efforts, the command ensured the successful conduct of the election, paving the way for peace and stability in the state.
Addressing the newly promoted officers, CP Adeoye urged them to uphold professionalism and integrity in their duties, viewing their elevation as a platform to serve the nation and humanity with greater zeal. As they embark on this new chapter, he called upon them to exemplify excellence and dedication, staying true to the ideals of the police force.
Among the honorees was David Iloyanomon, a former DCP Administration, who received a promotion and now assumes the role of Police Commissioner in Taraba State. Additionally, four officers ascended from Chief Superintendent of Police to Assistant Commissioners of Police, while four others climbed the ranks from Superintendent of Police to Chief Superintendent of Police. One officer also earned a promotion from Assistant Superintendent of Police to Deputy Superintendent of Police.
As the decorated officers embark on their enhanced roles, they carry with them not just the weight of their new titles but also the collective resolve to safeguard the people of Anambra State and uphold the values of the Nigerian Police Force.
