According to the announcement by CAF, three players from the Super Eagles of Nigeria have clinched spots in the list. They are captain William Troost-Ekong, Ademola Lookman, and Ola Aina.

Additionally, South Africa and DR Congo each contribute two players to the team, while Equatorial Guinea and the host nation, Ivory Coast, are represented by one and three players, respectively.

Leading the squad is Ivory Coast’s manager, Emerse Fae.
