Massive Purge: 80,000 Companies Struck Off CAC Register, Including Iconic Brands Like Dunlop And Mitsubishi (Full List)
The Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC) has officially removed from its register companies that failed to submit their annual returns for the past 10 years. This move follows an earlier announcement on July 25, where the CAC revealed plans to delist dormant companies, providing a 90-day grace period for non-compliant businesses to rectify the issue.……READ MORE
In a statement released on Wednesday, the CAC confirmed that it has struck off the names of companies that neglected to update their records, despite the prior notice. The commission reminded the public that a 90-day window was given for companies to submit their annual returns and activate their records by emailing activation@cac.gov.ng. Those that complied remain on the register, while defaulters have been delisted.
Operating under the authority of Section 692(4) of the Companies and Allied Matters Act No. 3 of 2020, the CAC has published the names of the dissolved companies on its website. These companies are considered officially dissolved as of the publication date, and any dealings with them are now deemed illegal.

- Hydeson and Avilson Nig Ltd

- Apapa Sea Stores Ltd
- Citigate Ltd
- Mitsubishi Shoji Kaisha Ltd
- Dunlop Nigeria Industries Sales Ltd
