I’m Deeply Disappointed” – Gov. Ossai Success Accuses Davido Of Forgetting Soso’s Support

According to Ireporter Online, Soso Soberekon recently got married to his partner, Princess Ebiere, in a star-studded event held in Warri, Delta State. The ceremony attracted attention from fans and personalities within the entertainment industry.

However, Davido’s absence from the occasion sparked reactions on social media, especially due to the long-standing relationship between the singer and Soso, who have been friends and business associates for several years.

Reacting to the development, Ossai Ovie Success expressed disappointment, accusing Davido of failing to appreciate the support and contributions Soso Soberekon had made to his career.

In a statement shared on his Facebook page, the governor’s aide claimed that Soso played a major role in promoting Davido’s brand both within Nigeria and internationally, adding that the singer’s absence at such an important occasion was disappointing.

Success argued that loyalty and gratitude should be mutual, stressing that important life events such as weddings provide opportunities for people to honour those who supported them during their journey.

He said, “Davido’s absence from Soso’s wedding is disappointing because Soso has done so much for him over the years. He supported his growth, promoted him locally and helped expose him to a wider audience.”

The Delta State official maintained that success should not make individuals forget those who contributed to their achievements, describing the situation as a missed opportunity for Davido to show appreciation.

He added that attending the wedding was not about wealth, fame or status, but about recognising and celebrating people who had played meaningful roles in one’s journey.

Success concluded by stating that he expected Davido to honour Soso Soberekon, noting that the music executive had previously shown support for the singer during key moments in his career.
