Malami Sends Strong Message To ADC Members Ahead Of 2027 Elections

According to Ireporter Online, Malami made the appeal while inaugurating a 600-member ADC Campaign Council in the state.

The former Attorney-General of the Federation and Minister of Justice cautioned party members against allowing political ambitions and disagreements to damage relationships that would continue beyond the election.

Malami reminded supporters that irrespective of the outcome of the 2027 polls, they would remain members of the same communities and continue to interact with one another in their daily lives.

He noted that party members would still worship together, patronise the same markets, celebrate important occasions and mourn loved ones together after the election.

The ADC candidate therefore called on aggrieved members to settle their differences through dialogue and reconciliation rather than allowing political disputes to escalate into personal conflicts.

He urged members to listen to one another where grievances exist and work towards rebuilding trust, stressing that the party’s diversity should be turned into a source of strength.

Malami also emphasised the need for members to maintain mutual respect despite supporting different candidates or holding different political views.

He said the party should remain united around a common objective, describing the situation as “different candidates, one ADC; different communities, one Kebbi State; different responsibilities, one common purpose.”

The former minister further appealed to members to place the collective interest above personal ambitions as preparations for the 2027 elections intensify.

He encouraged supporters to choose unity over division, cooperation over rivalry, reconciliation over bitterness and respect over insults.

Malami stressed that no political ambition should be allowed to destroy relationships among people who would continue to live and work together long after the election campaigns had ended.
