President Bola Tinubu has renewed the appointments of Abdulhamid Salihu Dembos as Director-General of the National Television Authority (NTA) and Ali Mohammed Ali as Managing Director of the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN).

According to IREPORTERONLINE, the Presidency disclosed that both appointments have been renewed for another three-year term, with their second tenure scheduled to commence on October 20, 2026.

The President urged the two media executives to justify the confidence placed in them by remaining committed to the mandates of their respective organisations and supporting the implementation of the government’s Renewed Hope Agenda.

Dembos, who hails from Yola, Adamawa State, is a media professional and former National President of the Radio, Television, Theatre and Art Workers Union (RATTAWU).
