Malami Makes Political Move, Names ADC Deputy Gov Candidate In Kebbi

The governorship candidate of the African Democratic Congress (ADC) in Kebbi State, Abubakar Malami, has announced Musa Zagi as his running mate for the 2027 governorship election in the state.

According to a statement released on Friday by the ADC Publicity Secretary in Kebbi State, Engr. Abubakar Atiku Musa, the nomination of Zagi was approved by the party’s governorship candidate.

The party described the appointment as a major step in its preparations for the upcoming governorship contest, expressing confidence that Zagi possesses the experience and capacity needed to effectively serve as deputy governor if elected.

According to the statement, the ADC congratulated Musa Zagi on his emergence as the party’s deputy governorship candidate and extended its best wishes to him and other candidates contesting various elective positions under the party’s platform.

The party urged its members, supporters, and stakeholders to remain united and committed as it works towards achieving success in the 2027 general elections.

The ADC further called on residents of Kebbi State to support its candidates, promising to provide purposeful leadership if given the opportunity to govern the state.

The party also appealed for peaceful, transparent, and credible elections, stressing that unity and collective support would play a crucial role in strengthening its chances at the polls.
