The presidential candidate of the Allied Peoples Movement (APM) and Oyo State Governor, Seyi Makinde, has officially selected his running mate ahead of the 2027 general elections.

According to details made available through the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) candidate portal, Makinde picked Ibrahim Adamu Bala as his vice presidential candidate on the APM platform.

Bala, who is from Bauchi State, will join Makinde as the party’s presidential ticket continues to take shape ahead of the upcoming election.

Political observers say the choice of a running mate marks a significant step in the party’s preparations as various political groups intensify efforts ahead of the 2027 presidential contest.
