Whitemoney Drops Honest Truth About Finding Love In Nigeria

Former Big Brother Naija winner and singer, Hazel Oyeze Onou, popularly known as Whitemoney, has opened up about his relationship status, attributing his continued singleness to what he described as the realities of Nigeria’s modern dating culture.

According to Ireporter Online, the reality TV star made the remarks in a video shared on his social media page, where he admitted that he is becoming increasingly concerned about remaining unmarried in his 30s.

Whitemoney expressed frustration over what he sees as growing financial expectations in many relationships, claiming that the emphasis on monetary demands has made it difficult to find a genuine life partner.

He particularly pointed to the dating scene in Lagos, alleging that many women are more focused on receiving financial support than on building meaningful relationships with long-term prospects.

The entertainer said he is ready to settle down and start a family but has yet to meet a woman who shares the same vision of building a future together.

Speaking candidly, Whitemoney lamented that he is getting older and sincerely desires a committed relationship. He questioned where genuine women could be found, adding that the frequent financial demands he encounters have discouraged his search for love. He maintained that many people no longer prioritise growing together as partners, making it increasingly difficult for him to find the right woman.
