Speaking at the party’s National Secretariat in Abuja, the APC Deputy National Organising Secretary, Nze Chidi Duru, reassured the 16 aspirants vying for the APC’s nomination in the Ondo state governorship election of a fair and transparent primary election scheduled for November 16, 2024.

Duru emphasized the party’s commitment to an open and equitable selection process to determine the party’s candidate. He expressed confidence that the APC’s winning streak would extend to Ondo state, bolstering the party’s governance footprint across the country.

Following negotiations and reconciliations within the party, Duru noted that the APC’s position and unity ahead of the elections have been solidified. He highlighted the successful resolution of disputes through negotiation, leading to a formidable team within the party.

Duru concluded by stating, “We believe that APC would win Edo state,” citing the party’s resolute determination and commitment to a free and fair candidate selection process.
