Ajuji Ahmed Appointed As NNPP Acting National Chairman

The convention was attended by members of the National Working Committee (NWC), National Executive Committee (NEC), State Chairpersons, and federal and state lawmakers. During the event, the party’s constitution, slogan, and logo were also approved.

Senator Rabiu Kwankwaso, the 2023 presidential candidate of the party and the national leader, expressed optimism about the NNPP’s future, emphasizing the party’s commitment to introducing revitalizing changes for citizens and the nation as a whole. He highlighted the party’s rapid growth and its understanding of the significance of education in poverty alleviation and ensuring security.

Kwankwaso assured party members of fairness, unity, and internal democracy within the party, pledging to support the party’s growth and development.

Governor Abba Yusuf of Kano State also thanked supporters for their contributions during campaigns and legal battles. He highlighted the NNPP’s status as the third-largest party in Nigeria, with a significant representation in federal and state legislative bodies, as well as executive positions at the state level.
