EFCC Arrest Former Kwara Governor Abdulfatah Ahmed

Reports from Channels Television reveal that Ahmed, who held office from May 2011 to May 2019, was observed arriving at the EFCC’s Ilorin office on Monday morning. He responded to an invitation from the anti-graft agency and is currently engaged in discussions concerning the alleged misappropriation of funds under his administration.
This isn’t the first time Ahmed has faced scrutiny from the EFCC. In May 2021, he was previously questioned by the agency over suspicions of diverting approximately N9 billion from Kwara State’s treasury.
