The assault occurred during the busiest hours of market day, causing chaos and bloodshed that disrupted commercial activities.

Abdullahi Hussaini, a youth leader in the area, confirmed the incident, stating that the gunmen arrived at the market around 2 pm on motorcycles and began shooting indiscriminately. The sudden attack caught the unsuspecting victims off guard, resulting in immediate fatalities and multiple injuries.

Despite the swift escape of the assailants into the bush, police personnel have been deployed to the community to restore order. However, concerns remain high, with calls for increased security deployment in the area to prevent further attacks.
