Benue Deputy Governor Explores Partnership with National Lottery Trust Fund for Community Development

In a bid to advance socio-economic growth and uplift communities across Benue State, the Deputy Governor, Dr. Sam Ode, recently met with Comrade Tosin Adeyanju, the Executive Secretary/CEO of the National Lottery Trust Fund (NLTF), at its headquarters in Abuja. The discussions focused on potential collaboration to channel lottery funds toward impactful projects benefiting Benue communities.

Comrade Adeyanju emphasized the NLTF’s commitment to supporting vulnerable populations, as outlined in the NLTF’s new Four-Year Strategic Plan, recently launched by President Bola Tinubu, GCFR. This roadmap prioritizes initiatives that provide essential resources and services to underprivileged areas nationwide.

Dr. Ode expressed keen interest in aligning Benue’s development goals with NLTF’s “Good Causes” initiatives, aiming to bring transformative changes to local communities. He commended NLTF’s mission and lauded Adeyanju’s leadership for driving meaningful contributions across the country.

The Deputy Governor was accompanied by Hon. Benita Shuluwa, Director General of Benue State’s Bureau for Entrepreneurship and Wealth Creation.
