Titled The Unity of Diversity, David-Tolaram’s creation celebrates Nigeria’s rich cultural heritage, encompassing elements such as food, clothing, festivals, and music. Inspired by his travels across the country, the 31-year-old artist spent six days creating the intricate masterpiece on a 1,360 m² canvas using waterproof markers.

David-Tolaram’s ambitious project also had an unexpected emotional journey. Despite initial apprehensions before beginning the drawing, he recalled the moment his fears melted away as soon as he made the first stroke. Crowds gathered to witness the spectacle, providing an electrifying atmosphere that fueled his determination.
